For those having trouble seeing the deal...

If you are an active subscriber / canceled within the past 30 days, then you'll need to logout and create a new account.

Yup! After you pay the 99 cents, you'll be taken to an add-on page and that's where you add the Disney+ subscription for $2.

I've lost it in the flood of comments, but there is an early comment that mentioned D+ without ads will not be available for new Hulu accounts. Only previously existing accounts that got this deal last year and had the D+ without ads add-on can continue getting D+ without ads (assuming they didn't cancel it).
Well sh*t, now you tell me... Lol

Website demands that we download the app. Has this recently changed or some temporary issues?

I have the Disney legacy bundle, (Hulu ads, Disney no ads, espn+) which increased to $18.99 a month, so with tax it's $20.52 for me. I also get a $7 Amex credit, so $13.52 a month.

Seems I am still overpaying…
If you're not using ESPN one can now DROP it, and pay just for Hulu/Disney NO ADS for 19.99 and AMEX credit will still apply.

Are there any tricks/mods to remove ads on the Android version? I found a chrome extension that should skip the ads in my browser but I'm looking for something for my phone.

Not sure if you know if you have AMEX they give $8.00 statement credit per month for Disney bundles $9.99 and above.

Honestly the ads are so frequent on Hulu that you'd have to pay me to watch it.

Same here. I am currently on the $2/m Disney plus w/ads plan. Not sure if that matters.

After using PayPal for payment as I did on previous accounts, got "You are ineligible for one or more free trials and/or discounts" even though I created a new email (using Apple's "hide my email") and a new password.
Any tips how to get past this block?

Had the D+ (no ads) and $1.99/month Hulu (w/ads) from last year. Canceled that account and got offered $2.99/month Hulu for 6 months but still canceled. Then signed up for this deal with a new account and realized it was D+ (w/ads). Finished sign up on new account for $3.18/month for Hulu and D+ (w/ads). Paused this new subscription for 12 weeks which is the max. Went back to old account, re-started subscription, and then attempted to cancel again. This time, I chose to keep the subscription at the $2.99/month plan for six months.

It's worth the extra few bucks a month to continue having D+ (no ads) for another six months. I set a reminder to re-pause my new account in March for an additional one month and then set another reminder to re-cancel old account in April when the six month promo ends. So I'll pay $6.35/month through April on old account (Hulu ads, D+ no ads) then pay $3.18/month on new account (Hulu ads, D+ ads).
How long can you suspend the new sign up for? I presume you are still going to pay the 2.99 initially? Why not just hope you can cancel again in 6 months and get same offer?

Same on Discovery+ (Food Network). Can't even tolerate it for $3/mo

Seems to be a lot of conflicting info on adding D+ with this.
Reading thru thread, seems you can add D+ for $2 more, but only the D+ with Ads version, no option for D+ without Ads- is this correct?
