Gmail trick: If you use gmail you don't need to create a new email - just add a full stop anywhere in your username and Hulu treats it as a new email, but it's the same email for Gmail.
Example: [email protected] = [email protected] = [email protected]
Other emails: you may be able to add a + to your email.
Example: [email protected] = [email protected]
Of course, test it out with the . or + before you sign up!

Reading thru thread, seems you can add D+ for $2 more, but only the D+ with Ads version, no option for D+ without Ads- is this correct?

$1.07 (including taxes ) total $12.84 for a year is good deal for Hulu with ads.

As for why I'm signing up for the new account and not just banking on keeping the six month promo - I think D+/Hulu will be combining some time next year and who knows what the pricing structure will be then. I'd rather know I have an option of $3.18/month in my back pocket for the back half of next year than risk paying triple that if they decide to not keep the six month promo.
