Grabbed this at Target for the same price as the Amazon deal (no price match, Target site already matched the price) so I could use the 5% PayPal Chase Freedom deal. Same would apply for Redcard.

I've been using this system for the past 6 months and I am in love with it. I use it daily to make coffee, even iced, or oatmeal and noodles. Much easier to make some hot water than bringing a pot to boil. I will say the "boil" function doesn't really get you boiling water but it is very hot and hot enough to make ramen.

Is it annoying to remove the big pot to just make one cup? My current maker has the carafe on one side and and the other side I can place a cup. But I desperately want to upgrade!

Not at all! I have a little coffee station set up in my dining room and if I just want a single cup, I just set the pot off to the side on the table. It doesn't snap-in or anything like that.

Yeah as a bit of a coffee snob I honestly wasn't expecting much. Now yes a pour over will get me a better cup of coffee but I'm darn impressed by this coffee maker I really enjoy how versatile it is and its not a jack of all trades master of none it actually makes good coffee.
