For anyone on the ad free plan already just log in to the website and go through the cancel flow. Then right before cancelling they will offer you the $2.99 plan.

I've used Hulu and peacock with ads and it was tolerable. When i used HBOmax with ads, it was unbearable. Same 3 annoying ads over and over. Many unexpected interruptions. Like i want to sign up for this but only if it was more like peacock.

How do I stack it on existing plan? I cancelled my current plan which ends in Dec but can't get it to stack or redeem.

For those with Ad Enforced Max, how bad (frequency and length) is the ad service? Netflix is tolerable to me.

Do they still have it where HBO Originals are ad-free? That was the plan when they first started doing ads, but I have no idea if it's still the case.

Canceled Max, Apple TV+, Netflix, and more a few months ago and have ran with a Stremio/Torrentio/Real Debrid setup since then. It works so well I've never looked back. This is what happens when streaming services keep raising their prices and keep pushing everyone to ad-supported plans!
