We got these recently for our dogs to replace the old Samsung tags. These ones beep periodically for no reason. They keep waking us and our dogs up. Apparently it is a known issue and they may be defective. But it happens with all 4 of ours. Even when not on the dogs.

I was getting the random beeps too - it's the same beep the device makes when the battery is first inserted. I replaced the battery and re-joined the tag to the account - seemed to go away after that. Maybe poor battery contact from the factory since it's shipped with the battery installed and the little pull tab?

Super sus. This is a very recent release of Galaxy Tags 2 and all AMZN 3rd party sellers are selling near this price, while Samsung and BB has it at $99. One of the sketchy 3rd parties google searches to a nondescript warehouse near me and apparently sells other expensive tech too. I opted to buy it shipped and sold from Amazon for $74 as a customer return, will find out Wednesday if I got a lemon.

These have been on sale on Woot and then Amazon in the past few weeks. This is the lowest price by a few bucks so far. Wondering if they will drop even further on BF or CM.

I imagine if they did, it would be at this price. When there's a woot deal, does it come from Amazon? I don't see Amazon shipping and selling these in 1,2 or even 4 packs, it's only 3rd parties.
