Really hope the TRD skid plate is included this time around as accessories were excluded on the previous sale.

Edit - just checked:
Front Skid Plate TRD
Subtotal $400
Black Friday Sale -$93.44
Dealer Discount -$26.25
Total $280.31

Great deal!

Best bet is to buy a 1995-2010ish vehicle with lower miles for ~$5-$15k from a southern state. Not only are they built better with more metal components/thicker gauge steel, less electronics to go wrong on. Fluid film the underside before each winter and that car should last you for quite some time. Unless you want the latest and greatest electronic gadgets, I suppose you could install a double DIN aftermarket radio with bluetooth and backup camera.

What's the difference between these two brake pads aside from the price? It's for a 2014 Prius Three

The one with (AZ letters) 04466-AZ213 it's economy pads. Don't buy it.
Get original that came with your car - it's first link - part# without any letters.
I did research like a month ago for my rav4.

... And make sure you transfer shims from your old toyota pads to new one. If your old one is not original pads - then you need to also buy shims for new pads.

My order from the previous sale never shipped but was charged in beginning of October. I called and they said I needed to email the parts guy. Emailed the parts guy and never received a response back. Three times I tried. I only got a response back after I initiated a dispute. And even then it was a bullshit excuse. Got my money back. Be careful and pay attention to dates.

edit. forgot to mention it was from a Toyota dealer in Decatur, AL, not KS.
I tried warning about about Serra last time. There were a few people that said they had lighting fast ship times but I don't think they were the norm. Terrible customer service too.

Never tried it before but can you just walk into your local Toyota steal-yer-s#!% and buy parts from the parts counter for about similar price? I'm only ordering wiper refills so shipping kills the deal

I'm confused. where are the deals? I tried autoparts.toyota.com and don't see it.
PN: 43516-52020
https://toyotaparts.bochtoyotasouth.com has the lower prices than the blackfriday prices.

edit: oh.. on select items.

Don't buy brand new. Certified pre-owned or just used with low miles, ~ 2 years old, for 25k you can find a nice car.
Good luck trying to find a decent used car for a good price in today's market. I wanted a newer Rav4. Every local dealer wanted 38k for for 1-2 year old rav4s with 40k miles. Ended up buying new from a dealer 2 hours away. Brand new Rav4, paid under 35k, and have the toyota warranty that the used ones did not. YMMV

Thank you OP. I got brake front and rear brake pads and also got the rotors for $175 which would have been 250 at least.

Just installed a Sony head unit with a backup camera in my 2000 Tundra, which I purchased new. I'm good for another 23 years now.

Yeah, that is my dilemma. Used is going for just as much as new. That is with decent mileage, too.

I'm going to add some tips based on my experience and others' - just my 2c... I don't work for any Toyota dealer.

Find the right dealer. Each dealer sets its own discount (if any) off MSRP – so shop around. There seems to be at least two types of dealer websites. The ones doing the Black Friday promo have the splash page that has a picture of a 2-door car in a tunnel with white text "Black Friday Savings Promotion runs 11/20 thru 11/27." These dealers will have free shipping over $75 and (probably) no tax.

There are some dealers named in this thread, a previous SD thread, and in various Toyota forums online. I have prior experience with Lewis Toyota of Topeka during a promo and received my parts (window trim) in about 4-5 days. I ordered from them again this time around.

Your local dealer may not be the cheapest, but might still be a deal for orders under $75 and local pickup. My pickup experience (for standard frame bolts) at a local dealer (355 Toyota in MD) was meh. No update for 2 weeks and then an immediate reply (ready to pick up) after I emailed them. Also note that if you walk up to your local dealer (to purchase), they will likely have higher pricing at the parts counter and will probably not honor the online pricing.

Some parts are cheaper on eBay or Amazon. Personally, I would stick with Toyota genuine parts for components related to safety (e.g., mechanical and electrical systems). I have no qualms buying very good knockoff parts for interior trim (e.g., saggy visor, worn out console lid, cracked plastic seat base) and non-critical high usage items (e.g. wiper blades, air filters).

Yes - they only sell the 97+ now but it will fit. There is a bit more going on with the lower grill on the 97+ just a heads up.
thank you, looks like instore pickup makes it 343 dollars, one hour away.

What ever savings you think you're getting will be eaten up with higher insurance costs and I wouldn't take the risk of buying Tesla's version.

I tried to add a pair of running board and nothing add to cart but if I order left and right separately it will add, but it cost 90 bucks more to add separately. Does any one experience that before? Seems this applies to all dealerships I searched for but Toyota doesn't have a contact for part dept.

Not really the wisest idea considering new cars are light years safer than anything that's 13 to 28 years old. Not worth possibly dying because you're too cheap to have a new car with the latest safety features.
IIHS just tested the most recent pickup trucks and specific scenarios were not great. Blanket statements like yours are not helpful.
