I was hoping the 5800X3D would go on sale. Is there a big performance difference between the two? I'm mainly focused on gaming.

Was looking at benchmarks, yes x3d has a huge lift in some games

For the games I play, between this and x3d it's not a big difference and it's half the price. In for one and will wait till AM6

Seems like they're going to wait an extra long time to discount the 5800x3d. All of us 5600x-ers are trying to be patient. Feels like intentional withholding.
