Controller warranty is 90 days (might be 1 year for the one that is included with the system). It is based on your your purchase date on the receipt. I only buy controllers from Walmart because their 3 year warranty is so cheap.
Unfortunately, censoring discussion of the topic will not resolve the issue. It's a well established fact that these controllers have an almost eventual drift issue. The only way to "move on" is for a major hardware revision to take place.

You post this same thing every single Xbox controller post. Move on.
Yeah...BUT I actually agree with this dude and think his 🧌 ng is appropriate here, at the very least as a warning if not for providing some sense of/way to complain..
.I have so many of these fkin controller and the sticks always eventually go and/or the audio ports. They are great controllers but at 40 bucks a pop on sale, it's absolute BS that they aren't better quality. I heard at some point there was gonna be a class action but who knows. I'll keep buying these stupid things and one of these days I'll solder in new thumbstick components if I ever get around to it ....I have probably 14 broken controllers and 5 that work from like the last five years, so that's about 4 per year we go through (have 3 kids and we all play)....and some of them went really fast with barely any use, within month or two so it's not from hard use. So yeah, I agree with this dude and Xbox made a newer design a while back and the sticks still suck and they know it, so yeah basically fk them for that man

Thanks for posting this- this is a pretty great deal if you missed the $90 deal last week that was for Verizon customers only. However, I am not a Verizon customer, and I was able to successfully purchase this. I tried to stack my veteran discount using Verify with ID.ME but that didn't work.

I'm not saying the sensors aren't crap but I think regular cleaning can help with controller life.
I agree with another poster, that MS moving to Hall effect sensors would solve a lot of problems
