PureRaw 3
$129 $89
FilmPack 7
$139 $89
ViewPoint 4

Nik Collection 6

I've used the 30 day trial of PureRaw3 and it's been a great program that is now indispensable for my purposes. I've read online that the software is discounted only once a year at Black Friday then it's back to regular price until next year. I've been watching the prices since the beginning of summer and that seems to be true. It still isn't "cheap" but it does exactly what I need.
The Photolab 7 is a Lightroom competitor without the Creative Cloud subscription. You bought it and you got it, no monthly fees (it also includes the capabilities of PureRaw).
Free 30 day trials are available to see if they meet your needs. The expiration date of the sale is not known, but it certainly will be over before the 30 days of the trial is up....

Photolab 7 is a RAW editor that has more adjustments and capabilities than Photoshop's Camera Raw editor and it also has the PureRaw capability built in. It's similar to Lightroom but without the subscription.

I got in last year, so will skip this iteration and see what PhotoLab 8 has to offer.
Nothing "must have" in PL7 coming from PL6.
I too am still using the free version of Nik as a Photoshop plugin.
Try better DxO.

I really wanted to get it after trying the demo last year. I actually liked it better than lightroom.
Would you mind sharing the name of some? I am a photography novice but found it fairly easy to use.
I have yet to find a true replacement for Lightroom. If you have some options, please share, I'd love to know what you found.
FYI, Lightroom is primarily a quick editor and non-destructive. It works on RAW images, and has a good collection of lens corrections. Lastly, it can be used to organize and catalog all of your photos, adding tags and ratings so you can find stuff and filter down to what you want. It's not meant to be a full-blown photo editor like Photoshop or Affinity Photo.
