About this Game:
Two JRPG masterpieces return. Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and Baten Kaitos Origins are back with improved graphics and new features to aid game progression, making them even easier to play!
A long time ago, there was a great conflict between the evil god and the people. After a fierce battle, the people managed to seal off the evil god, but what was left behind was only a desolate land. The people thus chose to abandon the land and live in the sky.
Such fairy tales were passed down as legends. At this time, people had wings called Wings of the Heart and lived a peaceful life. It was an era of long-lasting tranquility. ...But the collapse had quietly begun.
When a young man calls your name, the name of the spirit, the story begins to unfold. A story set on a floating continent in the sky, where thoughts and prayers intersect.
Note: The English voice acting from the original GameCube releases have been removed in this version (now only features the original Japanese-release dialogue w/ English subtitles).

Baten Kaitos is a very good unique JRPG Game. Highly recommend. If I recalled the story starts slow in the beginning but picks up later. Note. This game has a card-based combat system where you pick a card for attack, defense, and item.
I'm waiting for the physical to drop below $30 since I played the first one when it came out on GameCube like almost 20 years ago lol.
That is such a shame that they decided to remove the original English voices from the original. It had this really cool sound effect that made the game feel more unique and they remove it?? I would rather just play it on an emulator now instead of getting this.
Great freakin RPG but they removed the English Dub. If you're playing for nostalgia that's what will be missing from it.

Highly considering getting this. Getting some major Legend of Dragoon vibes from the trailers.
Can someone who has played this provide more insight into the game?

What's funny is that they kept the original opening in English.

It's a Nintendo exclusive, but it's not a Nintendo published game. Published by Bandai Namco.
