While I agree, this seems like a very good price, I cannot imagine many SDers being in the market for any 3/4" drive tools, let alone a torque wrench.

Still want it.

3/4 drive is overkill for the average person. The only people I know who use 3/4 drive tools are professional mechanics who work on large machines.

Wrong.
Some of the bolts on my Expedition needed more than 300ftlb.
I ordered one even though I don't think much of this brand. Thanks OP!

I think what they were saying is that you can achieve all that torque while still using 1/2 inch drive sockets.

I guess if you like to live dangerously...
Who here has undone hub nuts that weren't touched in 20years by jumping on a 1/2" breaker bar extended with 5ft of pipe?

I have but what does that have to do with a torque wrench? BTW, a quality 1/2" breaker bar is plenty strong. I don't know who use to make the breaker bars for Craftsman when they were US made but my breaker bar has been going strong for 20+ years now. Today I just use my impact wrench though.

Axle bolts run some pretty high torque values. I use a 3/4" torque wrench for those all the time. And obviously, the longer the lever, the easier it is to achieve the desired torque value, which is the other reason to use a 3/4" torque wrench as opposed to a 1/2" one.

I lost a fingernail for a while doing something like that. The limitation really isn't the 1/2" drive square, it's the sizing of torque wrenches at "reasonable" prices, and I appreciate OP posting a deal for a less common one.

Axle nuts torqued correctly or those expensive bearings you just replaced won't last.

Not used often, but when needed nice. The crank pulley bolts on many cars are torqued to 200+ ftlb, it can be done with a 1/2" drive breaker bar, but they are a little short for that so it takes a lot of input force vs this. Just make sure to treat it nice, it should be used for achieving final torque only, do not break bolts loose with it
