This is a rather good deal. The thermaltake gf3 (1200w and below versions) is rated A-tier on cultists, and is reviewed quite favorably by several major tech publications. It is atx 3.0 and pcie 5.0 compliant. Efficiency is decent (read the reviews), and the 80+ gold power efficiency certification is perfectly acceptable. Platinum rating makes barely any difference compared to a competent gold rated psu, and titanium rated psus are always absurdly expensive. It uses the well established cwt csz platform, and has a 10yr warranty. There have been major issues reported with the 1650w version of the gf3, and the 1350w version is also suspect (the 1650w and 1350w gf3 are made by high power instead of cwt). When checking customer reviews, make sure they're for the 1200w version or below. There are some complaints in amazon and newegg reviews about coil whine and about poor quality cables, though I haven't seen mention of those issues in professional reviews.

The 1000w black version has been on sale several times at ~$140 ($135 with rebate is the lowest I've seen), while the 1200w version (this deal) hasn't had as good of sales, and I haven't seen the white (snow) version on good sales at all. The somewhat inferior though still acceptable thermaltake toughpower gf a3 1050w psu is currently on sale for ~$120, but I'd personally say the 1200w gf3 is worth the $27 premium.
If you'd prefer the black version, newegg has the 1200w gf3 on sale for $164.99 (promo code TTNV23733CB) with an additional $20 newegg gift card (emailed 4 days after invoice, expires after 365 days). If you'd make full use of that giftcard, it's equivalent to $144.99. https://www.newegg.com/thermaltak...17-153-436
Overall, if you're looking for a new high end psu to use for many years, this is a good deal.
