It might be worth it to contact Franklin directly to score the guitar instead of going through Reverb because Franklin could give you an even bigger discount by cutting out the middleman

Received mine on Nov 10th (Aerodyne Telecaster) from Franklin GW with a shattered neck. Their customer service has been good about the return.

100% of the time and I don't mean anything other than a 100% a dispute created with the card issuer will come in your favor when the seller isn't an amazon, american airlines sized seller.

As soon as you mention the word dispute they will either do something about this or they think that a 100% loss is actually cheaper which I cannot compute how. The dispute is always 100% this or that way and almost never a negotiation. You get 100% of your cash back and wait for an Aerodyne neck to show up. Win Win Win

Note that the pics in the reverb ads are not the actual guitar you will receive. So you won't know the condition until you get it. They could be just fine but you don't know and I don't think they will open the boxes.

Same here. I was so close to buying the P-bass for $800. I could not resist this time, but it does mean I'll have to part with one of my other basses. I've got to stick with the "one in one out" policy!
