As a Rift owner, I feel seriously F'd over by Meta. They bought Oculus and tossed existing customers aside. Never supporting a company like that.

I just got Beat Saber for free, after arguing with Meta for almost 2 hours. Was it worth it? NO! Absolutely not. Long story. Worst customer service EVER.

I would also suggest going to "sidequestvr dot com" follow the directions there are a lot of good free games there that are fun and it's also another good place to buy games … it's not pirating

Sidequest is actually a pseudo-partner with Meta now. In fact, many times you click to get the game, it redirects you to Meta's applab. It's absolutely not pirating.

If you play wirelessly, save yourself a TON of headache and buy Virtual Desktop (the alternative to the native AirLink). I can't tell you how many hours I spent troubleshooting Airlink, and it would never work properly. I honestly have no idea why Meta doesn't simply give up and buy Virtual Desktop.

Im considering taking the dive into the world of VR. Is the 2 a good deal or is the 3 that much better? ITs double the cost, but for the mixed reality stuff I feel it may be worth it. This will be used by my 11 and 9 yr olds for homeschool stuff, not just gaming.

Highly recommend that series, as well as Moss, Walkabout Mini Golf, Beat Saber of course, Superhot is great, and Job & Vacation Simulator for the kids...

Have heard great things about Virtual Desktop but my PC isn't all that great... I'm on the edge on that one...

Any others I should own?

I just jumped on the Meta Quest 2 'Holiday Bundle' deal and glad I went with the 256G version, as I see a ton of games in which the bambino might be interested. Smilie

It looks like most games would also be supported and usable with the new Meta 3 headsets, if he's into it and we upgrade in a year/when a smoking deal on the new headsets presents itself?

I just don't want to go all-in today, only to find out the games won't work (or suck) in the future.

I so need to narrow the aperture, but looking at the following games. Did I miss any absolute 'must haves' or have I included a game that you've played that, well, suck?

Beat Saber, Vader Immortal (I,II,III), Moss (I, II), Eye of the Temple, Eleven Table Tennis, Down the Rabbit Hole (where I have fallen looking into these games lol), Myst, The Last Clockwinder, The Room, The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners, Puzzling Places, A FIsherman's Tale, Walkabout Mini Golf, Thrill of the Fight

Lastly, do these 40% deals come around frequently? I would rather not go all-in out the gate, but if this is a once, twice a year type of smoking deal...arm could be twisted to buy more than normal. Smilie

Does anyone know how to add multiple games to cart and buy all at once? Or if the code is able to be used multiple times on an account? I am using web browser to place order because I don't currently have a Quest but am planning to pick one up soon. Thanks in advance.

The Quest store does not have a 'cart' function, so each app needs to be purchased one at a time. The code is multi-use though.

The app doesn't have a cart so you have to purchase one at a time and yes the code works multiple times
