IMO, ZWave or Zigbee are far superior than Wifi for smart home devices unless you're using just one or two. Better to have a dedicated network that doesn't clog your information traffic.

i dont mind the shipping, they are fair prices. they can increase the prices by $5 each and offer "free" shipping. i'm just glad there is a free shipping option for $100

The bummer is you have to spend $99 to get the free shipping. There's only about $60 worth of stuff I could actually use. The zst39 for only $20 is a really good deal. I'm not sure why someone would go with the 700 series stick to save one extra dollar. I did the painful move from a 500 series Nortek dongle to the zooz 800 series just a month ago. Everything is working great on it and it supports long range. Z-Wave. I wonder if Black Friday would bring a lower threshold for free shipping?

C8 is latest and has 800 chip. But is nearly double this price I believe -- usually it's around 150.

Thanks! Been looking for a deal on switches for my Smartthings system as replacement for dead GE's. Happen to also just see TP-Link's Tapo S505D Matter Smart Dimmer Switch. Does anyone have an option which is better?

I agree to this poster. I prefer zigbee as it is easy to repair if anything breaks compared to zwave.

I was hoping at least a better discount for the zen15 or free shipping under 100.

I might as well buy the zen15 from Amazon with prime that has an extended return period at this point

if you have a 3-way or 4-way install, you can use one Zooz switch and one or two other dumb switches and it will work. It's black magic once you get the wiring correct.
Can someone explain this magic?

Does anyone know if these 800 series dimmer switches allow you to set the "last used" brightness via zwave without actually turning on the light? Like throughout the day, I want to be able to change the brightness they come up in when a person presses the on button. But without actually turning them on to that brightness.

And how is the low on these lights? Is the low level adjustable? Some LEDs don't even light up at all at the minimum level of the dimmers. And others are still too bright at the default minimum level. Is the low level adjustable? And do they get low enough?

There is no C9 yet, although there is rumor of a new C8 Pro (likely more of a target market distinction than technical one vs. C8).

The sale item here is C7, which is an excellent hub if you don't need the few things that C8 adds. But if you don't need an absolutely new one, you can find a just like new on eBay for $39. I bought one of those and upgraded from C4 to it.

The ZEN71 on/off switch is more versatile (carries more load and can be used with a ceiling fan) is also on sale for $20. Consider this one insted of the ZEN76 if you're looking for an on/off and don't need it to be 3 or 4 way.

Shipping was $7 for two switches for me, $23.50 for a quality z-wave switch is still very slick.

I have Jasco (GE) and Zooz switches throughout my house. These Zooz switches are great quality.

In for a zen16 relay, a smoke detector, 2 zen34 remotes, 1 zen 30 switch, 15 zen76 switches, and an 800 stick.... Gonna take a minute to install it all...

ZWave with home assistant has become a pain in the butt with the integration/implementation. I'm still zwave all the way, but for those getting started, get ready for frustration...
