Don't be ashamed of loving Taco Bell. It has a place, sometimes twice a week..

What an incredible revelation. On the app you can switch the Cinnamon twists for Chips and nacho cheese sauce for free. I'd do that every time.

You can also upgrade to a steak or chicken chalupa supreme for 60 cents extra.

This box always been there, there's no deal. The cost $5 is per location, not for all locations. We have here for $6.49 for the same so its nit a deal. Its YMMV, please add it to the title.
or you are wrong

this specific $5 cravings box (Chalupa - consisting of Chalupa Supreme, Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists, Medium Drink) was available at the end of June and was removed from the offerings (replaced by a 2 more expensive limited time offerings) in early September at my location/region

it returned both in app and at store last week

Note that there's a few similar items, here. There's the $5 Classic Combo Menu (which has one less item than the Cravings Box), the $5 (for me) Cravings Box, the $5.49 Build Your Own Cravings Box (lets you sub the chalupa for a cheesy gordita crunch or crunchwrap supreme), and the $9.49 Deluxe Cravings box (in case spending ten bucks on a meal at Taco Bell seems like a good idea to you).
Maybe this $9.49 is what I encountered.

Must be location specific for the upgrades. Chips and cheese upgrade from twists is 49 cents where I am, Detroit area

Kathleen Madigan's Taco Bell/Oprah bit always comes to mind when I see these threads:

"In understand why poor people are fat, 'cause they're poor, and Taco Bell is goddamned delicious" is how it starts...

That's ridiculous, I always tell them it better look like the picture and to make it like they were going to eat it😎 They will give you less beef and more beans every time

Not worth waiting 30 minutes for my food
Sucks to be where you are then, I just have to wait for the car in front of me.

Usually 15-30 seconds. I think the longest wait I've ever had at a TB was a full minute

This box was like 7.99 or 8.99 before this special, I was shocked it went up over 50% I didn't go for like 2 weeks but since I saw the commercial it's been nice
