i suppose it's an OK price if you want this exact tool and battery combo specifically. but it's not a "slickdeal". this saw can typically be picked up around $180 new. milwaukee 6ah 2 pack batteries are sometimes on sale for $100 ($50 per battery). this saw puts out a decent amount more power with the 6ah batteries.
What do the numbers mean and how does it compare to the m18 6-1/2"?
I just hacked the 6-1/2 last night for $78. I wanted a cordless lightweight saw for sheets and some other tasks. I'll probably never use a circular saw for cutting thick wood do feel this more expensive version is unnecessary and too much added weight. I'll use my corded saw for anything the smaller Milwaukee can't handle.
I hacked the 6-1/2 saw and the small router for $99 so far.

You are right about the price of these saws, these are very popular and I've sold about six at $180-190, but I am not sure where you're buying two 6.0's for $100, I've never seen that locally or out of state, rarely have I seen two 5.0's for $100, usually $120 or more, so for 6.0's and 8.0's, I normally see and sell these for $80-$100 each. So given that you're getting the saw and an 8.0 (better than a 6) for this price, this is very slick to me.

Excellent saw! I was skeptical about going cordless initially, but this this eats sheet goods like butter. I even made several rip cuts on 6-7ft long pieces of 2" thick hard maple and it managed to do pretty well. I'm happy with mine even after paying full price. Just make sure to use the HO batteries. The regular ones will overheat with anything beyond light use.
6 1/2" is the size blade it uses m18 is the model/battery type
I honestly prefer the 6 1/2 when I'm not using my worm really that saw is to big for certain things and not to mention this saw blade is on the opposite side then it is on the 6 1/2 to me the 6 1/2 doesn't kick back as much stuff in my eyes as the one here also easier to see when your cutting depending what hand you are used to cutting with
