I have the baby brother (i5-13500HX, RTX 4050) to this and have been really happy with it, but I'm considering this one mainly for the higher-res display. The display in mine is good, but the resolution (1920x1200) is a bit low for a 16" display, so small text isn't the cleanest. I wish this one was just a little cheaper, but the price is reasonable compared to other deals of similar specs.
Anyone who has this laptop, would love their feedback. Looking at this one and ASUS ROG M16.
Returned M16 (got open box i9 16g for 1k) because my kid told me that the FPS is reducing and handling their armoury crate software is pain. Also it heats up crazy!!! Check Reddit for the issues.

Looking for feedback on this laptop.
This is pretty much what I am looking for, something overkill to do some gaming here and there, but 90% of the time it is my "media machine" to run Superior Drummer 3 and some other music software.
Honestly alot of these laptops are really good deals i iverspent on mine but ivae had it for 7+ years and is still my only gaming computer with thousands of hours on it i have seen no degrading overtime
I have an old dell g 15 with a 1060 super
That i got for 1200
Over the years i upgrade ram to 16 gb and then upgraded storage to be 2 tb ssd and i can play BG3, R6S, RDR2, GTA5, MW3 (on low settings) only game i couldnt run so far was the new battlefield but i feel that is more to do with how that game is optimized than my pc not being able compete with it
Upgrading from a i7-9750H + RTX2060 laptop, looking at this and the i7-12700H+RTX4070 TUF. I feel like the CPU is a massive win over the TUF.
I plan on playing competitive games mainly, like Warzone, with the occasional SP game. I like the build and display (and the CPU, ofc) of this, but I feel like a 4070 would provide a bigger jump in performance. Any opinions?

This is kind of a TUF (😆) one. I think the Predator is a better all-around machine, but the Asus has the stronger GPU. Overall, I would probably lean towards the Predator for a few reasons: 1. Better display. It's higher res, 16:10, and brighter. 2. The CPU in the predator should be slightly faster in single core and significantly faster in multi-core. Plus, the Asus uses DDR4 for some reason, which has to be at least a slight performance hit when comparing the two. These things will help make up some of the disadvantage of the GPU. I'd say it comes down to your intended use / what you value. Gaming, but also a decent amount of desktop / productivity work / general use? The Predator for sure. 100% AAA title gaming on ultra settings? Then you think about the Asus.

Also a tough one. The Corsair looks to have really nice build quality and some unique features, but possible issues. The tech in it is somewhat old at this point. This Predator has a clearly faster CPU and its looks like the GPUs are close enough that you can't really say one has an advantage unless you know that one is better for the specific games you play. Personally, I'd probably go for this Predator, due to the newer tech / extra CPU performance and numpad.
