Solid Deal, the other laptops in those links either have an old gen intel processor, slower ryzen processors, ddr4 instead of ddr5 for that Tuf laptop, worse screen, etc. Rtx 4070 vs 4060 on a laptop is only a 10% difference in speed at best.

A meh deal when a new CPU with a full power 4070 can be had for around $1000, like the new acer nitro from walmart and it even has a high rez screen.

Ive been looking for a laptop under $1000 with a 4070 16gig ddr5 and a current gen cpu. This laptop when it was on sale for 979 at BB is the closest I've gotten.

this was a blackfriday sale at bestbuy...annnnnnnnd a week and a half later its 50$ cheaper WTH....

good laptop overall cant complain...except the power brick is MASSIVE. The battery life is meh, until you fix the settings like screen res, and a few other misc things.

Pretty good, I have owned mine for 5 months and paid $1350 for it , well worth it at the time and still a great unit. The fans only get loud under a heavy gaming load, other than that its actually very quiet, impressively so. CPU has liquid metal thermal paste and the fans are made of metal so it dissipates heat very well.

One of my favorite laptops ever. Screen is really bright too and quite impressive.

Power brick is a 330 watt unit so it is large but this laptop can pull some serious wattage, CPU will boost to 157 watts and GPU is capable of 140 watts, but commonly wont usually go above 100 watts due to 1 volt limit. With "Turbo" mode turned on it scores similar to a stock laptop 140 watt RTX 3070 chip. Strong performance using about 40 watts less energy plus 40 series tech upgrades.
