Very nice price! TU and repped!

I think everything's going to come full circle on noiseless single coil pickups. After I replaced my telecaster single coils with noiseless, I have loved the silent operation but at the same time I realize they are not the same pickup and I am not as happy with the tone as I was with my noisy single coils. I'm confident the Stratocaster pickups are the same, noiseless single coils are not equal in sound to standard single coils. Just FYI for anyone who's considering this great deal to replace noisy single coils.

They'll be $135 if you're a Fender Play member. Just checked.

Not a bad deal if you like the noiseless pickups. They're basically single-coil-sized humbuckers, so you lose some of the chime and bite. But they absolutely have less hum.

Had the Gen 1 product on my strat 30 years ago. Hated them.

I had some issues with the electronics in my mid-80s MIJ strat. The pickup switch was awful, from day 1, and no amount of deoxit would fix it. Pots were noisy too. I bought one of the Fender loaded pick guards - just like this one, but the pickups were the "Texas Special" instead of the noiseless. I transferred all the electronics over to the original pickguard. Only modification that was needed was to enlarge the holes for the pots (done in a few seconds with a reamer). Guitar is great now. I think at this price this is a great way to refurbish a strat with bad electronics.

The only caution I would have is that I've heard the noiseless pickups are a bit deeper, and in some guitars you may need to route the pickup cavities a but deeper.
