Maybe if you signed up for Hulu and Starz on the same day, it processed how Starz expects, charging the total amount and greenlighting access.
Those of us who added Starz on a different day than signing up for Hulu were charged a separate Starz fee of $1, and the "proper" charge of Hulu+Starz won't start until next month's billing date.
So maybe it'll fix itself after the next payment. On the plus side we get an extra month of Starz by signing up on different days (as discussed previously in this thread) and we can still access Starz right now from inside Hulu.
