Also I used to be able to come here and see what the top voted black friday deals were. Also, all the ad scans were up (and in previous years even clickable) This year Im having hard time even finding the Walmart black friday scan and bf is a couple days away.
I always found it easy on SD to get a lay of the deal landscape. This year I don't have a good view.

If that's the case SDers are falling behind this year on the deal landscape.
we used to know everything before anyone else did about bf deals.
Edit - even despite the deals are not that great it's still good to know what they are

If someone is still waiting to find out the BF deals they're not only falling behind, they may have missed out. Black Friday is mostly a thing of the past, now. Ever since the pandemic caused stores like Walmart to spread their deals throughout the month, BF has faded away. Only being used as a sales term to get people's attention. Walmart had part of their deals at the first of the month. The rest start today. Most other stores have had their BF deals running all week with nothing special planned for Friday itself. Not having print ads saves the companies lots of money. They were a thing from the newspaper days (which is practically going away). There are stores that post a digital circular online. Most of them have been posted at some place or another. There seem to be a few I haven't been able to find, but they've already been running deals all week that are similar to what other stores are doing, so I'm guessing they didn't even plan an actual "circular". This has gradually become a thing over the past few years. I was already not expecting BF circulars, but was anticipating more sales/events throughout the month. Although Walmart, as in the past few years, only ran the one event at the beginning of the month and one for the latter part of this week instead of every week. Unfortunately, I think the overuse of "Black Friday" in marketing -- even being used throughout the year -- has made people unaware that the "Black Friday" marketing in November is the actual BF sales and not just a gimmick.
Hope someone does/shares the spreadsheet this year.
