One of the very few all season tires that are also snow rated. I've had them on two my cars for a year so far and have handled the snow in the Boston area without issue.

I agee. They have been good in wet and snow conditions.
That makes a lot more sense and I should have tried checking out. I need the 235/60R18 107V and it seems to come out to $1000 when all is said and done.
It seems like Costco often has tire deals, but I will listen in and see what others are about this model and the price. I could hold out another 6 months.
Hmm, I need 215/55/R17 for a Sonata and showing $199 each for me... wonder why the price is different for 1 size smaller...
Yea, there isn't a direct correlation at times for a size on sale and others....could be stock related and other things.
I have seen though that right on the day or around Thanksgiving they put the installation on discount so you get the $100 plus another $120 or something discount (not sure what the exact amount is but saying that its a good deal around that time).

You have to weigh the pros and cons:
CostcoPros: Its only a tire shop; so generally they wont upsell you on much other than tps and valve stems. Unlike other places they will do rotation AND Balancing on the tires for every 5-7k miles up to the 5 year warranty. Most places want to charge me for this service and most do not do balancing. The tire purchase counts towards your membership 2%.
CostcoCons: The wait times are annoying and like you said the flat wait at some locations is stupid (mine will do it but still takes a while to fix). I pretty much have to drop the car off for rotations or plan ahead with an appointment.

Or you can just get this at a local tire store like Discount Tire who will match this price. I did this.
Does buying locally give you free Rotation and Balancing for life of the tires?
I was also answering about the other size so not sure if you are saying they will match the price for other sizes (doubt it but just asking).
