The dead Dell Aurora deal was a hit partly due to the inclusion of 4080.

so, for someone interested in these power stations, it's:

Ryzen 7900X Vs I9-13900KF
RTX 4080 vs RTX 4070 ti
32GB RAM vs 64GB.

the first two are reliant on your intended use
Curiously, not a lot of conversation on this Ryzen package

Is the 4080 worth the extra few hundred when compared to the 4070 ti?

Seems like a solid system. Any glaring issues?

I would have liked if CyberPower put the actual model somewhere in the description so we know if it's a good model or not. Otherwise, this build is pretty good.

vms, proxmox server even. Theres alot of reasons why ddr5 would be better choice, if your just gaming sure you wont notice it, start firing up windows servers and all

I think it depends if your idea is a slick deal is value for your use case, or value compared to parts value.

I bought the linked deal, and if I'm totally honest with myself, the i9-13900kf is overpowered compared to the 4070 Ti unless you have very specific cpu intensive activities - there were probably a bunch of deals that were much more balanced in the $1600 range or so that would've given similar performance for the majority of things I actually do. The as-built price made for a solid machine with a very obvious upgrade path (swap the gpu).

This seems like a much more balanced system with probably the same amount of savings in absolute dollars. I think where I struggle (and maybe this is buyer's remorse speaking) is that the 4080 was in a weird price/performance spot in the first place in that it was a very overpriced card for the performance uplift you got compared to simply spending more for a 4090. Because of this, the upgrade path is a little bit of a question mark as to what the next step is considering how much you are already spending.
