That's online. In store is typically cheaper since there is no shipping baked into the price. (And they sell as singles).
I believe these are the same as the ones from Costco (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Home Depot and Lowes have similar looking, but different containers.
I have had 10 of these for about 5 years and recommend them. I have them stacked in my garage. They're still in great shape.

The measurements look the same. The Home Depot ones are about 1/2 to 1/4 inch off in each direction. If you don't want to have to keep track of which kids go to which, these might be a better bet since they're the same dimensions. Not sure if they're 100% identical tho.
Same price as out the door at my sams and on my costco reg price. I love how these comp keep jacking up prices just to put them on sale for the old reg prices and people eat them up.
The ones at Sam's have been 11.97 for just over a yr. These are well worth the price if you need some.

I was in sams a couple weeks ago and they were less than nine dollars even the website has them at 9.48 right now. The only real deal if the are less than 8.00
Bought 4 that I picked up this past Wednesday, I was so impressed I just ordered 11 more before they go off sale. I can finally organize my storage out of various sizes of cardboard boxes without breaking the bank. Thanks OP. The body and size itself is great. The thing that sold me on them was the tops. Although I'm sure there are some out there that may be more heavy duty. These are better than average and very acceptable...for the price.
Great thread, I caught that difference between the Walmart versions and these years ago, luckily only bought one at WM. The one big issue I have with them is that the size makes it easy to put so much inside that they can become really difficult to maneuver. Would definitely say go with a rack system rather than stacking them if you want frequent access.

Mine has only had them at 12ish in-store for a while now. Might be a location thing.
