Medical doctor here. Your body has its own buffering system, so your blood pH stays the same, no matter what you consume. Period. Everything you consume is immediately turned acidic by the hydrochloric acid your stomach rapidly produces. The slurry of acidified chewed food leaving your stomach is turned alkaline quickly in the duodenum, to facilitate nutrient absorption. The alkaline water fad really does nothing different for your physiology, once it hits your stomach. But, it may be better for your teeth than acidic beverages like soda pop.

For most people in most parts of the world, our bodies simply cannot make enough vitamin D from sun reacting with cholesterol-derived chemicals in our skin. Vitamin D supplements are necessary in our diets to prevent deficiency. This is why it's added to milk and a few other common dietary staples- in amounts that are unlikely to become toxic. Most vitamins are water-soluble, so extra just gets peed out, but A,D,E and K are fat/lipid soluble, and may build up. Vitamin D excess can be toxic. For this reason, if you aren't sure what your body needs, ask your doctor before taking extra vitamin D outside of a multivitamin.

It's been posted in almost every Walgreens thread here for the last year. I doubt it's been fixed.

Get to the final checkout screen with the total.
Then just open a new Walgreens tab, go to your cart and delete the "extra" items, leaving just what you wanted.
Back to the Final Checkout tab and refresh the page and it will update and let you complete the order under $10.

not neutral ph water, a fad in japan, is complete nonsense
as your own body ph rebalances whatever water your body
uses for digestion and to eventually hydrate your cells.

it's nearly as dumb as people out in the sun daily still taking
a vitamin D supplement (unless they have a known deficiency).

I cant speak to the science around high ph water ingestion but your ignorance around VitD leads me to believe there's a good chance you're totally incorrect about high ph water too.

it's very simple, all human nature, no science is required.

some scam artist noticed most body fluids are slightly alkaline
while the stomach is very acidic, so he came up with the idea
to make water more alkaline via electrolysis to "help your body"
which didn't need our help in the first place to balance it's ph.
japan's economy was booming, and they had excess income
to buy into all sorts of consumer traps with no experience on
how to be skeptical about them, thus scudo science took hold.

You're not wrong- unless it's alkaline enough to dissolve your mucous membranes- but that's another story. Good on ya!
