They're simply dumping their stores stock (such as it was or wasn't!) directly on Amazon website. Quality and freshness is typical of Amazon which is their Amazon's Choice items are consistant: ME,H in quality.

Very mixed bag when it comes to freshness... or rather, not freshness. I haven't received any rancid nuts from Amazon, yet. I'll stick to aldi and costco.
