Good price. Make sure to check filter price before buying. They make the most money from selling filters, not the unit itself.

Bought this but without the ALK part about a year ago for $160. This is plenty for a 2-4 person household.

Install directions are easy. Suggest using a garbage disposal / dishwasher adapter for the waste water drain instead of the saddle tap.

It's a personal water filter. And what do i need a pressure gauge for when it's hiding under my kitchen sink?

You need to see what your input pressure is.

I installed one of these earlier this year (different brand). I highly recommend the pump especially if you don't have a reserve tank. I had limited space so was looking for one without the tank and the motor helps boost output.

We have one of these systems and it works very well. Our tap water is borderline undrinkable, and the tiny filter for our fridge doesn't help much. These units produce clean and tasty water. Water is the only beverage I drink so our unit has been one of our better purchases for our house.

The filters have to be changed about once every 6 months, and they aren't too terribly expensive. I've definitely saved money over bottled water, and don't have to waste all of that plastic either.

I have differrent brand /w motorize but THe parts/filters are all generic so they cheap to buy on aliexpress or Amazon. Only bad thing about the desisgn is changing the smaller filter will spring a leak so be ready.

And? What am i supposed to do with that information? Every faucet in the house comes with a or water flow regulator. But what do i need a guage for on a water filter, again it's under my sink, and if it's 50 or 90 psi what does that mean to me as a homeowner? Water splashes around more?

I've had this for about 6 months and am really happy with it. The filters last wayyy longer than the refrigerator filters. I still dont feel a need to change mine after 6 months and we have very hard water. Definitely need to be comfortable drilling a hole in your plumbing though and know how to turn off your water.

Do some research or waste your $$$ not my problem.
I used to do residential plumbing for a few years, installed a bunch of these of systems. Only time we used pressure gauges, was to test the rough in plumbing and during inspection. You also never answered my question why do you need a pressure gauge? Is it because it's to low it's not working correctly or opposite if its too high? What about my fridge for water and ice cubes, the water line splits of the main supply line. And again what am i suppose to do with that information?

The only money i see wasted is installing unnecessary items that don't do any real purpose other then pad the time and wallet for the person charging for it.
