...I am guessing some people are getting the discount and others are not. Some on that thread got it after reloading the app.
I am using Android and a brand new account I created today. Screenshot in OP shows my cart, and added YMMV to title.
possible creating a new account on tiktok might work according to other thread for max discount. not sure if i want to go to that trouble. i do have extra phones and tablets so it would be pretty easy without having to delete tiktok from my actual phone, i would just make the new tiktok on one of those.
