I recently bought a jacket about a week before the 20% off sale online. Called their customer service and they refunded the difference right away. Whole thing took about two minutes.

The recent 20% off outlet item sale for members was only for a limited number of "Outlet Coupon Eligible Items." If this is similar then this is not all that great of a deal.

I just saw this coupon shown on a regular store, non-sale item. I didn't see anything on the REI web site about this deal. It was a surprise to me to see this show up on an item I've been waiting to see if it goes on sale. It was not eligible for the 20% off coupon. I'm sure hoping this is not a mistake and there are no exclusions. I can't find any info about this coupon.

Same. The code worked for me too. Total discount was 50% after outlet discount and this coupon. Not great but decent enough.

If you've bought it within 14days you can even price match it online. If it's 1 day outside that you'll have to return the first item and buy the other one.
