No, these are not hot swappable. Here is a reddit thread about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/steelser...swappable/

The volume/menu wheel on this keyboard is disastrous. It is known to break easily. I'd stay clear away from this one. The software is surprisingly easy to use however... I programmed my pgup and pgdown as my volume buttons since my volume wheel broke within a week.

This keyboard is fantastic, I've had for a couple of years. I have a bunch of mechanical keyboards, this is my favorite and it's clean AF. Killer deal IMO
I agree I've gone thru many and this one I've kept for 2 years. Solid keyboard and still works. Perfectly

Yes, you can make any keeb hotswappable. Let me tell you how: pick a very hot day, preferably a high 90, and stay under the sun for 5 minutes with 2 keyboards. Once you feel you are hot enough, swap a keyboard on your hand with the other one on your other hand. There you go, both keyboards are now hotswappable.
I've been on slickdeals for about 12 years.

Congrats, you are the first person I will block.

I always wondered who would use that feature - now I know.

Be warned, I'd you use a USB hub or KVM (even a USB 3.0 one) these Steel Series keyboards aren't for you. It's the only brand of keyboard I've ever seen crash. I have a KVM setup for my work/personal set-up, this keyboard would go into a bootloop. All my other devices were unaffected by the bandwidth changes, including my headset, but for some reason KEYBOARD did. I sent it back after 1 day of rewiring everything to no success.
