Got this deal a few months ago. Thought I could watch some sports. Turns out they only show a few things here and there. Haven't used it to watch anything else. Was a waste of money really.

Somehow I got used to ad supported version so I don't end up binging shows for hours and it forced me to take breaks.

And I think the only show I really want to watch on Peacocks is Yellow Stone season 5. Even if I don't watch much else, still seems to be good deal to have it for $20/yr

Peacock Premium is great imo. Movies usually let you watch a 5 minute block of ads before viewing uninterrupted

I find the ad breaks very short compared to cable viewing also. Let's say a bravo show runs an hour on cable - that's 40 minutes of show plus 20 minutes of commercials, Peacock only shows about 4 minutes of ads
I appreciate the review. I'll absolutely pass .

LOL at them calling it Premium to trick people into thinking they're getting an ad-free or 4K or live TV version.

Also, LOL at all the streaming companies that give away their lowest tier for free with Tmobile or Walmart or whatever but walk away from free money by not letting those people pay the difference to upgrade to the better version.
Because they make more money off of advertising. This way they can double dip. Make money off of subscribers and the ads that they watch.

Yup.. been reading about this. They would rather have consumers pay $1 for the ad plan than $10+ for the ad free. There's big money in advertising.

There's a promo for 1 or 2 months for free if you buy select M&M'S or Orville Redenbacher's.

Select Spectrum Internet or TV customers can get 90-days or 12-months of Peacock for free too.

Agree with the many others how is this "premium" but still ads? The ads are minimum 4-5 for a typical show, and then most of the time you are watching the same or very similar ads over and over. And you are basically paying to watch ads! The entire point of paying for a streaming service is to NOT have ads. If you are ok with the ads then there's many free or cheaper options than this. By itself Roku offers tons of free movies and shows and tv channels if you don't mind ads, and it's free!

This also used to be free for xfinity internet customers but YMMV as some say they can't get it now. I can see how some would be interested in this deal, but paying for these ad supported services is going to bring down the quality of streaming services over time.

Bro I've been happily using Netflix, Apple and Paramount+ as and Add-on to my T-Mobile plan, with no extra charge to my monthly bill, for more than a year now. Both Netflix and Apple have no ads with T-Mobile as 'basic' sub. Only Paramount+ has ads, well that's one I watch the least or don't watch at all.
Folks who have T-Mobile offer with streaming services should jump on it. Buddy it's FREE.

See, there in lies the problem. Every cable network decided since everyone was leaving cable, they needed to get in on the action. This lead to every almost every network starting a streaming service, selling and buying up licenses and selling off ad space.... Turning what was supposed to be cutting the cord from cable..... Into cable. And it doesn't help that every network also fills everything up with reality shows now maximizing profits. It's greed. Pure and simple. This was my Ted talk.
Cord cutting was never about saving money. It was all about cutting out the middle man to the TV companies. Most of them operated at a loss to get people hooked. Now they are bringing prices to the reality of their cost of business.

Paramount+ was only free for a year on T-Mobile (or was supposed to be). Netflix and Apple TV+ are definitely nice perks if you're on the right plan.
