If you go to stone age gamer and look at their everdrive products, further down the page they have charts that will compare the products. It doesn't include all of the revisions, but it's better than nothing. Here's an example:

Those are mostly cloned from these, but with worse compatibility and quality. Krikzz is an innovator in the flash cart space, and IMO it's worth supporting him and his staff in Ukraine, and getting a notably better product.

I'm confused because I've looked up the N64 one in the past (couple years ago) and it was $100 then. Not sure if this is post COVID hike but not much change that I'm seeing

The different versions of the carts can be a bit tricky. If you are buying for a Super Nintendo, I would only recommend getting the FXpak pro. It has support for all of the snes's helper chips (superfx, cx4, dsp 1-4, SA1...etc), and also supports the super Gameboy, and msu-1 rom hacks. There are a lot of heavy hitters (Mega Man X2, X3, Super Mario RPG, Star Fox, Doom, Yoshi's Island, Super mario Kart, Street Fighter Alpha 2) that use the enhancement chips and if you buy a cheaper model you will definitely regret it. Luckily it is on sale as well for $180.

That FX chip really was awesome.

I noticed StarFox and the first few FX games that came out after it advertised the FX chip, but not for long. I noticed a lot of games started to have the extra pins on the cart that signified the FX co-processor but never advertised it.

I've often wondered if Nintendo wouldn't have been better off just making a stay on the console attachment to permanently FX the system, either using that port on bottom of the SNES that never got put to work, or dare I say it, a Sega 32x style attachment just to save on future cartridge manufacture.

I looked up some of my previous orders and it doesn't seem to be too different. In 2016 Everdrive64 V2.5 (comparable to X5) was 107 before sale, Turbo Everdrive v2 was 86. Now Everdrive64 X5 is 119 and Turbo Everdrive is 89.

As mentioned he lived in Ukraine before the war broke out and I believe had to move out of the country, and on top of that I think everything is just way more expensive and they are a small operation afaik so the price increase makes sense.

Just a heads up for anyone with the Analogue Pocket though, I and others have had issues with the Gameboy Everdrive not working on that (but works fine on real Gameboys). Others have reported no issues using their GB Everdrives, and my GBA one works fine on it. Not sure what the issue is or if it has already been fixed but wanted to bring it up in case. Krikzz or Analogue may have already addressed it by now.

I use the knockoff N64 everdrive "ED64 Plus" which can be had for like $50.. I'm just a casual gamer though and it works well for me. Just need to remember to hit the "reset" button on the N64 each time I do a save to the ED64 cart.

I'm not sure really what benefits a X5 or even X7 offer over the knock off ED64 Plus

Go to Funnyplaying dot com to get a backlight kit for your original GBA!

There's the option of IPS, which is my preferred image but battery-hungry, or a TFT screen taken from the DSi, which looks more like the backlit GBA SP screen and is more power-efficient. These days, both are laminated so the screen is right up against the glass and the image pops.

You'll have to either modify your original shell with a utility knife, or (easier) buy one of their replacement shells that fit the backlit screen without modification.
