If you go to stone age gamer and look at their everdrive products, further down the page they have charts that will compare the products. It doesn't include all of the revisions, but it's better than nothing. Here's an example:

Those are mostly cloned from these, but with worse compatibility and quality. Krikzz is an innovator in the flash cart space, and IMO it's worth supporting him and his staff in Ukraine, and getting a notably better product.

Can literally find what you need on ebay, Amazon, Alibaba, temu for fraction of cost. Swap out the stock memory stick and transfer over files and your still well under these carts to the point if it breaks you don't mind.

I have the original SD2SNES as well, direct from Krikzz. Great product with adequate firmware updates, official or otherwise. As far as some of their other flash cart offerings are concerned though, I have a hard time laying down that much money when Krikzz commands a premium price.

Just a heads up, the last SD2SNES or rebranded FX Pro cart with the latest firmware now supports Gameboy and Super Gameboy as well!

The X5 is ok for the older SNES games and that is still a really good option — I started with the equivalent of the X5 myself and had many enjoyable hours with it— but if you want to play Super Mario cart or any of the later SNES games with enhanced chips you need the X6 . The X6 supports DSP-1/1B, DSP-2, DSP-3 and DSP-4

I upgraded from the SD2SNES to the X6 in order to be able to play the enhanced chip games like Mario cart . For me it was worth it. The X6 supports DSP-1/1B, DSP-2,DSP-3 and DSP-4 chip game ROMs .

That's not an upgrade. The SD2SNES supported those DSP chips and more enhancement chips like SA1 and Super FX that the x6 doesn't.

Oh well then I had the one under that one I guess — I upgraded shortly after the war started because I wasn't sure how long they would be able to stay in business . Fortunately things have gone better in that regard than originally predicted.

These are interesting and kinda want to get an X7 for my N64, but actually what I want is a way to dump my carts because I'm fine with using an emulator just want to be 100% legit. Other systems I want to dump is Sega Genesis and Master System. Still have much of my old collection going back to the 80's.

Maybe one day I'll have a CRT again and can do it right, but even then FPGA based systems like Mister seem good enough, but I do have original hardware so can do it either way.

The cheap ones from China are all about $50. They are essentially all clones of the Krikzz models... so if you want to support the person (team?) that created the device, buy the authentic one from Krikzz.
