Top Comments
1. Power brick too large to fit in outlet behind furniture
2. Included cord only 18" (seriously?!?)
3. Entire display "blinks" subtly (I'm guessing this means it dims a bit) every second. (For those with any kind of even mild OCD-type issues, this will be maddening as you'll constantly be noticing it once you realize it happens)
Other complaints include:
1. The projector progressively getting darker over time (the oldest review in the most recent ten is from September, so this didn't take long). Multiple reports of "projector dims," is already dim out of the box, or died entirely.
2. Projected digits displaying what I'm calling "segment bleed" where segments that are supposed to be off are still dimly lit, making it harder to read. Reviewer included a picture if you don't know what I mean.
3. Have to be careful hitting the snooze button, or you accidently turn the alarm off entirely (they didn't elaborate on how this happens). Being careful when it's just woken me up is entirely unlikely.
Hard pass.

99% of the time, the phone is right next to this or even plugged into this device when a person goes to sleep. How hard will it be to incorporate a Bluetooth module into these kind of devices to connect to the phone occasionally and get the time/alarm settings from the phone? No one should have to worry about setting the time manually or setting DST manually nowadays.
Many clock radios have Bluetooth speakers included in them already - but are only used for sound and not time/alarm 😔

If connected via Bluetooth, options could be:
- just like how you can cancel notifications via a tap on the earbuds or watch, this device can act as a second switch to cancel/snooze the alarm on the phone and if alarm is cancelled on the phone, then clock alarm also stops ringing
- copy the alarm settings to the clock and the alarm rings on both devices independently
It is all upto the imagination of the manufacturer on how much they want to integrate. I would atleast want them to integrate the time settings so that users don't have to worry about setting the time up using the buttons or the DST adjustments.99% of the time, the phone is right next to this or even plugged into this device when a person goes to sleep. I do not have this exact device but I have one that looks and functions the same. The procedure for setting the alarm is complicated. I must find the instructions, it is not obvious from looking at the buttons.
The advantage of a Bluetooth connection is that the phone has a much better UI. It would be much easier to change the settings with the UI that phones have instead of the buttons on the device. A few more buttons on the device could really help but a Bluetooth connection would definitely help.
