I've bought this before, returned it. Has all the marks of a cheap mechanical keyboard. The metal ting/ringing is awful. Truly bottom of the barrel of mechanical keyboards.

Lot's of decent reviews. $16.42 each on Amazon business for 15 or more. I use them as free w/ gaming system purchases, this with EVGA X20 mouse for $18. I would have bought 30 for a bigger discount but they only had 24 left. Also 5% cash back with Amazon Amex.

I got one of these a while back. It's a loud keyboard to be sure. The per-key color customizations are nice, and it comes with replacement silver WASD keys. Every so often, it seems to lock up during a game, though I'm not sure if it's a keyboard issue or a Dell docking station issue. I've used it on two different Dell docking station models, and it has happened on both. Not sure why. A quick unplug/plug resets things.

One minor thing is that I don't like the stylized font on the keys themselves. My brain seems to spend more cycles than it should trying to process what the key is.

It's my first RGB gamer keyboard, but I think I'd prefer something a bit quieter with a little less key travel. Since it's exclusively used with my gaming laptop, I don't mind. But I don't think I would like it as a general keyboard for work or for typing letters/emails.

I mean, its 20 bucks. Shipped. That's going to be the definition of bottom of the barrel.

Is this only for gamers? If you youtube and webbrowse, this isn't good?

Also does it make lot of sound? I heard thats the difference between mechanical and membrane?
