Are you being serious or facetious?
If honest question, completely different class. This Vizio is your low-end basic model (not QLED, no local dimming, mid brightness nits, 60hz). Hisense U8 is your mid high-end model (QLED, mini LED, large amount of local dimming zones, high nits level, 120hz). Both reflected in price $500 vs $1500.
This is a nice price for a big TV, but you get what you pay for.

I don't see much difference. I decided to get the 65" after realizing a $300 difference. I can buy more ammo and still watch the game on Sunday.

This. Is it a Mini-LED / QLED?

Is this a better TV than the 65" TCL from Walmart?

Im looking to update my 2015ish bf special vizeo to a 75. All these sub $600 75s seem the same. The vizeo I have has treated me well and considering this... Any reason for a different option?

It is a good price for the size, but I am of the opposite thought. If you are like me and plan on keeping your TV for 10 years or so, I would pay $200 more for something at least QLED with local dimming zones, I'd even go 65" vs 75" for better features.

Invest in this or another by budget TV.

Then when the mid-high tier drops in price, get that, and put this in the mancave. 2 TVs for the price of a mid tier.

If you want true 120 refresh, then spend more. You'll notice that blur in sports and fast moving movies with 60 Hz refresh.

Otherwise, to watch news, YT, drama, these are fine IF the contrast and HDR are good.
