I don't have it but my wife's 32 degrees parka looks exactly the same. Sherpa lining is only in the upper half and the hoodie, not in arms. Outer side of lower two pockets do not have any insulation. Other than that I think it should hold well with some layerings. I have their heavyweight fleece baselayer, and its pretty good.

I have it and use it here in socal. Not sure how cold Minnesota gets but I'm thinking you should layer up with it. Does well in the rain. Pretty comfortable as well. Only back and hoodie are lined. They had the same sale last year.

Bummer because I thought sherpa lined up entirely and I already ordered it. Probably should cancel it. Will call them tomorrow

Update: They dont cancel orders once they placed

I live in MN and I regret buying cheap coats like this one. They're OK for when the weather is like 50 and above. However, it can get really cold here and you will really have to layer up if you insist on wearing this coat outside. It's just my personal preference but I hate layering. So, for really cold weather (real feel of 30 and below), I wear my down insulated coat that I got from LL Bean.
