What's really confusing is that they released an intermediate story DLC called "INTERmission".

So, originally it was:
Final Fantasy VII Remake (April 2020)
Final Fantasy VII Remake INTERmission (June 2021)

But then they also released a combo version that contained both, which was called "INTERGRADE".

FF7R - Act 1
FF7R: INTERmission (DLC)
FF7R: Intergrade (Act 1 + DLC) <-- this is the game featured in this SlickDeal
FF7R: Rebirth - Act 2 (February 2024)

Anyway, as usual, terrible marketing and naming conventions.

To be very clear for anyone not aware, this did release exclusively for playstation originally then later released on PC but was actually an unoptomized garbage port in comparison to the Playstation version. I think it has finally gotten better on PC since release but took Square quite some time to actually fix it.

Eh I'm just going to wait until 10 years from now when square releases the omegas ultra remix final fantasy 7 happy mix that has all the games and extra content and it's remastered for PlayStation 7

Same release date? Or delayed release to prioritize consoles?

It's $15.19 at the Playstation Store if you have a PS5.

If you have a ps5 and planning to get rebirth, the remake intergrade is free with your preorder on the Playstation store.

Is rebirth the final one? I've been waiting until they release the whole thing so I've been holding off.

Yeah, that is the square business plan. At that point, they're going to be pretty blunt and just call that version "FF7: Intercourse", because you've just been F'ed in the A by square again.

Wondering if I should buy now or wait for a lower price when part 2 comes out. I probably wont have time to play this for like a year anyway...
