Some of ya'll have some wild expectations lol.

It's a 5.1 with true 4 speaker setup, has front lcd display and Dolby Atmos. All for $129. When it comes to soundbars, with exception of the Vizio M-series 5.1.x (which costs over 2x), you're not going to notice much difference between all of them.

Price to feature ratio on this is pretty tough to beat. If I can get 2 or 3 years worth of decent sound from this, I'd consider it a win.

Thanks for the post, OP! Just got one for the extra 65" in the bonus room.

Mine just got delivered 45 mins ago. Swapped out my Samsung HW-T510 2.1 in a few minutes and didn't have to press any of the pairing buttons - sub and surround speakers worked immediately.

I don't have optimal placement for the rears , they're just on two side tables left and right of my chair - blocked by chair and far from ear level. Still an enormous improvement and I can definitely tell certain audio is coming from the rears during certain scenes. Probably easy to wow me since i've never had more than 2.1. Subwoofer on the hisense is a definite improvement, too.

This is the most theater-like sound i've ever experienced at home so that's cool. I really bought it to see if it improved voice clarity. All dialogue seems to be coming from in front of me watching Netflix's 2022 film, Troll… but I haven't had to adjust the volume between talking scenes and action scenes once. I got so used to this with my old sound bar that I just left the remote in my lap. TL;DR i'm super happy with the result and the price. The only thing I lost was the volume # on my tv (Samsung tv with samsung bar did this) but that doesn't matter at all since this hisense has a display on the front.

The issue for me with the hisense is you can't adjust the levels of any individual channel. So if the vocals are too quiet in the center channel, well you can't raise the volume of just the center channel.

I'd like to see a review but I'm always worried about the dialog being too quiet so I usually want to boost the center channel on my receiver setup. Curious how this handles the center channel and dialog/voices.

This is intriguing because of the rear wireless surronds but the reviews are mediocre. This Vizio sound bar is currently on sale at Amazon for $120. I was able to pick it up a few months ago for $100 from Sam's Club and it's been great so far.

If your tv has an ARC HDMI input then your tv remote will control the volume.
Awesome, thanks!

Way better than built in speakers but don't have Sonos expectations. At a great price. Height isn't great and room correction isn't great compared to others I've tried like Sonos and Samsung.

A good sounding 2.1 system with good Atmos/DTSX emulation for surround will beat a bad sounding 5.1

For the price these are good speaker.
It has wireless subwoofer and also a wireless side/surround speakers which is rare at this price.

Note:
- Two surround speakers has wired connecttion with each other and one of them will need power supply.
- All these speakers will connect with each other on bluetooth.

Can it play sound when you connect it via an aux cable and not HDMI? I want to use this for my projector but it doesn't have a spare HDMI port

Can I use this with my LG TV remote somehow?
ARC to turn the system on and off and volume up and down. But if you want to like switch input it will not do that.

how this is compared to vizio M series 5.1 or 5.1.2 which is on sale at BB but at higher price. I have vizio 5.1 V series and it is good but i want improvement over Vizio 5.1 V series.

So thinking to get this hisense 5.1.2 or Vizio M series 5.1.2 ($350 at BB)

Any suggestion is welcome.

I don't think Vizio 5.1.2 is much of an upgrade compared to Vizio 5.1. Rather if your room isn't a regular box with decent height, 5.1.2 might even be worse. You should consider a 9.1.2 or 11.1.4 to really feel a difference. Though they will fall in complete different budget.

I bought this two weeks ago for $209 lol. I like it. Great for the price and I like that the back speakers don't need to be wired to the subwoofer like a lot of other budget 5.1 sstems. They need to be connected to each other but the cable it comes with is plenty long.
