I live in Florida. Bought this last year around BF. Gave it to the wife on Xmas. Used it for a couple months (too late to return), and sold it on Facebook Marketplace.
Heres my take... I had one BedJet, and a King Size BedJet One-zone sheet. If you want individual control for two people, you need Two BedJets, and a two-zone sheet. I think having two bed jets running would be quite noisy, IMHO.
On high speed, the unit is quite loud. The fan adjusts in percent increments. Once it gets over 30% speed... it starts sounding loud to me.
Know that these units DO NOT COOL! They can heat the air, but they CAN NOT COOL the air. When you put it on COOL, it is just blowing room air over you. Whatever the temp & humidity is in your room, that's what the machine is blowing over you when you set it to "cool". Also, whatever heat the fan motor gives off is also added to whatever is blowing over you... So when you set to "cool", you get room air, plus fan motor heat... so probably a couple degrees warmer than room temp is what you're actually getting when it's set to "cold".
The unit does have internal heating coils, so it can actually heat the air... but here in Florida, we rarely need that. It would be nice if they made these with actual cooling, and not just room air.
My wife was looking for a solution for night sweats/hot flashes... I think the unit works well. Having air circulate around you UNDER THE COVERS makes it possible to sleep with the covers on in Florida.
However... this doesn't cool beneath you, so it wasn't working for my wife. So we sold it.
I thought it was all in her mind, until I tried it... This is a mesh type blanket that allows the breeze from our ceiling fan to pass right through... So even though it's hot Florida, I can have my covers and still be cool enough to sleep, without the noise and electricity use of the BedJet.
So we've found a solution that works for both of us.
Not a scam. It really is a game changer for comfort and sleep. I have 3 of them and they even sent me a new one when my dog chewed through the cord lol…
Bought one during BF last year, has worked great so far. The app is admittedly clunky and it lacks any sort of smart home integration (despite the company's promises), but it's genuinely helped me sleep better

These are all a scam. They have their people post fake reviews. Seems they are making their way here now.
lol, I wish. We're up to three now because our kids begged for one as well. I take my husband and I's with us if we vacation for more than a few days.
Only downside is we can't figure out why it randomly trips the breaker in our bedroom, so we have an extension cord running into the hallway plugged into another outlet. Doesn't do it in the kids bedrooms so need to get an electrician out.
When we were kids we used to construct the Ghetto Cooler, which is a $10 box fan at the foot of your bed and a large sheet duct taped to the top of the fan and the other end tacked to the wall or headboard so it makes like a wind-tunnel over you on the bed, you'd then crawl inside. You could spritz some water over the sheet to dampen it and I'd swear it was 4-5 degrees cooler in there.

If you have dual units, put them in low power mode, which is available for exactly this problem. It will still produce more than enough heat.
I made my own bed jet fan with a 4" inline duct fan with controller, dryer vent, and a cheap tencel duvet that zips (cheap is good because it allows the air to flow through better). All in $150 and works pretty damn amazing.

A glorified fan still provides airflow under the sheets, which is the benefit. With a good comforter the air temp under your sheets due to your own body heat will be significantly higher than the ambient room temp. So even though it's not refrigerating the air, simply pulling in the cooler ambient air will provide a lot of relief.
Someone on a previous thread suggested bedfan.com. I couldn't/ didn't want to pay this much for something I may or may not use. The bedfan was a low tech / cheaper solution to sleeping hot. Don't know how it compares to bed jet, but it worked for me for 1/2 the price.
Also, have to note that this thing has the nicest remote control I've ever seen on any device. Super high quality, solid, OLED screen. It's amazing.
That caught me by surprise. I thought it would be some flimsy remote with a barely intuitive layout. It's well thought out and well built. The auto lighting by grabbing is great at night. The remote for my adjustable bed doesn't do that.
I've used it for a year and pleased. I use it every night. Winter comes, & the heat option will be great again.
Ordered the Bedjet & cloud sheet, then was able to stack a referral code coupon available from google. Now having some buyer's remorse after seeing the Bedfan Bfan is only $166 after coupon. Has anyone tried both and can compare them? $160 vs $480 is a big difference in price. Is Bedjet worth the premium?

So really, this unit is just a glorified fan. My wife ended up finding a blanket on Amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...=UTF8
