Check for total dimensions (H+W+D) of the largest bag to make sure it works with the airlines you may be flying with.
For e.g. I just checked American Airlines website and it says 62 inches max for checked in baggage. All the 'Large' bags here are either right at 62 or more.
Putting AA baggage policy text and link here for reference:
"We calculate the size limits of your bag by adding the total outside dimensions of each bag, length + width + height.
For all regions, except to / from Australia or New Zealand, your checked bag allowance is:
Dimension: 62 in / 158 cm
Weight: 50 lbs / 23 kgs"

Major luggage manufacturers make these luggage sets in these sizes and sell them to consumers and said consumers fly domestic and internationally with no issues or they wouldn't make them in these sizes.
I have 2 sets of Samonsite luggage in similar sizes and have zero issues flying domestic and internationally.
But you people who have never been anywhere have no idea what you're talking about. Try actually traveling and reporting your feedback.

Edit: added black set, then was able to add blue set and removed black set.
Edit 2: blue is showing OOS now, but my order went through, we'll see if it will be cancelled.

I guess they know better than a company that relies on making luggage for revenue.
Their hive minds upvote each other and the featured comments end up steering people away from those with actual experience.
It's silly. The luggage is fine. The Winfield 2 luggage set that got wrongfully crapped on is also fine. I own it.

Just pointing out that the luggage does not meet the requirements for most airlines. Because it doesn't. I don't see how Samsonite "making luggage for revenue" matters.
Now whether or not that will actually become an issue is unlikely...
1. weight. it's around 10 lbs and after my wife packed it it will be much more than 50lbs which is the weight limit of most airlines (40lbs for some budget airlines). And if you travel to Europe, some smaller airports and train stations have very limit and sometimes don't even have elevators or escalators. Forget about airbnb in Europe, half of them don't have elevators or have elevators but the elevators don't work. Good luck cary your large bag 3 flies of stairs.
2. car trunk space. the large bag takes up half of MY car trunk space and it is hard to put the other 2 bags in there.
To each of their own. I prefer 25"-27" inside dimensions bags but most Samsonite bags are either 24" or 29"+
