Returned two of these. First time after an hour with their customer service trying to get it on WiFi, they advised to return. Second one finally got online and did an update which bricked the unit. Called CS, they said it happened to all who did the update and to return the unit. Bought the Juicebox 40A which Costco had online for $450. No problems.

Thank you for the info. That's pretty bad QC. I will pass on this one.
I have not had any problems with the WallBox. Actually I find this nicer since it has BOTH WiFi *AND* Bluetooth. I have a 2 story house and the WallBox is mounted in the garage and when I am upstairs, I can still connect to it via Bluetooth.
The JuiceBox 40 that I had bought in 2019 worked perfectly until they decided to move us all over to the new Enel-X app. The unit then never connected to WiFi after that. They said it needs to be fixed? I asked them, what needs to be fixed? The only thing that changed was you guys moving me over to the new database (i.e. JuiceNet to Enel-X). Nothing on my side changed. They gave me a number of a person who can "fix it" for $150 and when I contacted that person, he said that he too has a JuiceBox and there is no fix for it and to just use it as a dumb device. He then started bad mouthing the company. Hahaha. Luckily I had bought the JuiceBox 40 from Costco, so back it went and I picked up this WallBox. It has the all the important features that the JuiceBox had which is:
- WiFi
- Ability to adjust amperage from 6 amp to 40 amp
- Set when you start and stop the charging (good for time of use periods where the electric company charges you different pricing at different times in the day)
- Can manually start charging even if you have the above schedule set
- The footprint of the box (i.e. the actual device size) is about the same
+ Bonus that the JuiceBox did not have, which is Bluetooth connectivity. You can have both Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity at the same time.
