Unfortunately they do need one. Pretty much all of these online places won't do business with you if you do not have one from your doctor.

Is this the sale price that it will be all weekend? Or will it go cheaper in the next day or two?

How long are prescriptions good for? My wife has one that needs to be replaced.

Yes, but they're readily available on Craigslist without a prescription (which is illegal, but no one cares). If you have insurance, they will pay for them. If you don't have a prescription, I doubt you need one. These aren't to be toyed with.
Calm down, it's a glorified air compressor. I've had one for years.

My insurance wouldn't cover my device because my sleep apnea wasn't bad enough. So instead of a new $800 machine, I got a lightly used one off Craigslist for $400

Should be like meds or Eyewear, so 1 year. I have this model from the VA and use a heated hose with it. It works well.

This is my trusty at night. From going from no cpap to this device, took about 2 weeks but my energy levels shot through the roof. But being able to breathe at night will do that for you.

Sleep apnea often goes undiagnosed. Especially in the US where people often forego medical care due to the cost.

If you sleep with a partner and they say you stop breathing/gasp for air at night, you definitely have it. If you don't, there's a questionnaire you can take online that indicates your risk for it (very high if you're overweight and snore).

Though you would need to go to the rigmarole of a sleep study to get insurance to pay for supplies, etc.

This is the older model, probably clearing out inventory.
