I think at 480p, the video quality would suffer when projected on a big surface.

Native Resolution of the internal LCD panel is 800 x 480. It support 1080p input, but it does not project 1080p

480p is dvd resolution, (in my Robert Plant voice) does anyone remember dvd? LOL. I'd be more concerned about brightness, never heard of such a low lumen count. Pretty sure even the youngins won't be pleased with this one.
