I contacted BB months ago asking about the difference and the person told me these are basically older stock, but they're all made with the same materials in the same place.
Not sure that person knew what they were talking about as others have mentioned likely differences.
I did end up buying the 12 inch standard though and it's nice. I will say, if you're on the heavier side (I'm ~200lbs), I'd go for the firmer 10 inch. I wish I had. This mattress does sink in after a few months.
I think from my research that's just natural settling in, but it made it less comfortable for me. The firmer one would be better for slightly heavier folks I'm betting.
Anyway, for $200 I would say this is a pretty dang good deal based on my experience with the standard.
I got my 10" firm a few days ago, but I'll preface this by saying that I'm no bed expert.
The mattress I HAD was a medium, and after 7-8 years it had become unbearable. A couple springs were poking up, and it was sinking in certain areas.
This firm is exactly what I needed (back/stomach sleeper).
It's a lot firmer than what I expected from a bed in a box. The top 1" layer of foam is soft, but the mattress has very little give overall. To me, it's a good compromise between my previous medium mattress and sleeping on a hardwood floor. I've seen it described as a 6-7/10 firmness - like I said, I'm not an expert, but I'd probably put it at a 7-8/10. I'm not sinking into it at all.
It inflates in about 10 seconds once fully unwrapped. No real off gassing or fumes to speak of, only a slight smell. It's one sided. I've seen people complain about the edges on similar models, but the edge support on the firm feel about as good as my prior spring mattress. It inflated to the full 10", if not slightly more.
I'm just now waking up on day 4 and I'm very comfortable lying here.
Obviously I can't speak for how well it will hold up, but I'm happy with my purchase for now.
I know nothing about ordering mattresses online but I'm looking at the 14" Queen. Is this mattress specifically made for Walmart and other private label brands to their own specifications? I could not match these specs to the ones on the BB website so does anyone know which is it closest to? I can sleep on anything so this seems like a pretty good deal to me. I was also looking at the Molblly on Amazon and the Ashley signature mattress when this deal popped up?
I was going to return a Zinus hybrid a couple of weeks ago and chatted with them. It seemed pretty straightforward. They didn't hassle me and didn't even ask to see pics of the hump in it. I ended up keeping it because I don't really notice it and gamble on getting one even worse.
How were you going to return it? Were you going to bring it to the store, or were they going to pick it up?

I took the time to chat with their Customer Service. This is a model they make specifically for Walmart. They could not provide me with many more details than that but indicated it is still made by their company and the BB quality. Likely just a bare bones model with fewer layers. I would consider it an entry level BB bed. I am 6-4, 250lbs and went for the 10" Cal King firm to be safe because I am larger. I can add toppers if not satisfied with the comfort. No other beds on BB site were near that $250 price point at that size. Took a gamble. Others in comments have indicated good experience with this model. Got a nice chunk of $ back from a cashback site as well.

Thanks for the info, I think I'll jump on this before the price goes back up. Thanks also for the cashback reminder, which site did you use?

Anyone know if this has fiberglass? Trying to get one for my son but this particular set on Walmart says nothing.
No fiberglass. Brooklyn Bedding is proud to offer a mattress that is free of fire retardant chemical sprays. Instead, we keep you safe by casing our foam in the highest quality fire retardant socks—a fabric blend of non-woven silica, rayon, polyester, and cotton.

Can these hybrid mattresses be used with adjustable bed frames? Can I use the 10" on it or does it have to be the softer ones?
We have the BB Signature Hybrid in two twin XL on our adjustable base from SAMs and they work fine - got both of them in medium firmness about 4 years ago. I need something firmer and am looking at the 10" firm here. Unfortunately it's not the same height so our king bed will look wonky when made
4.3 out of 5 is pretty good. Sure there are some negatives but if you don't like it take it back. Nothing is perfect and if you only read negative reviews you might as well give up.
I emailed walmart support (I have walmart+ if that helps) and here is an excerpt:
"I would like to inform you that you can return the open mattress. Kindly let me know the order number so that I could assist you regarding the return refund.
Your patience in this regard is highly appreciated. "

I was thinking about doing this. How did you bring the two together? Did you use one of those straps or just put them side by side? Was going to get an adjustable base and two of the twin XLs

Standard 12":
https://i5.walmartimage
Signature 12":
https://res.cloudinary.
So the signature has 5 layers vs 3 on the standard. the 14" standard seems to have 4 layers (2" foam base layer).

How likely is it this chat agent is incorrect?
