I posted early in the thread (saying the 12 inch is a bit too soft for me at ~200lbs, I wish I'd gone with 10 inch). Just to reiterate I like the mattress a lot aside from that issue and one other issue, which is that one of the corners didn't fully expand. It's maybe an inch or two less tall than it should be. I contacted BB about this (through Walmart if I recall correctly) and they gave me a nice partial refund/discount.

Honestly the messed up corner hasn't affected anything and you can't tell visually unless you take the sheets off and look specifically at that corner. Edge support in general is ok to me, not amazing but I don't roll off the bed or anything (maybe if I slept RIGHT on the edge I would).

Just providing info -- take it or leave it. Makes no difference to me. Personally, I appreciate others sharing what they've found online about the ability to return or not return. So far not a single person has shared a personal testimony of successfully returning an open mattress. Yes, I see that customer chat told someone they could but that doesn't mean you actually will be successful. We all know the chat reps may or may not have any clue. At the end of the day, we simply want to know if the mattress sucks and we drag it to Walmart if they'll accept it. The vast majority of info out there suggests no. Walmart's full return policy also says they reserve the right to refuse a return for anything. I read it. So may be a YMMV but best of luck.
And you haven't successfully shown that you can't besides some third party website looking for clicks.

Compared to this particular mattress, his idea is not cheaper. But compared to $1K and above mattresses, he's got a point.

I bought a Saatva Classic (queen) in firm. Cost $1150 (it was considered a good deal) and it's very good, but ultimately I dunno if it was worth the price. Then I put a 2" latex topper (about $250) on top of it. Now it feels incredibly good. I could easily see how a stack of thicker latex toppers would be as good or better than what I have now.

In hindsight, I would've just gotten a cheaper mattress (like this one) and put a 3" latex topper on it. Latex is just an incredibly great mattress material.
What kind of latex topper? Dunlop? Talay? Something else?

I just went to the sleeponlatex site and they're their own brand. I think they're among the cheaper latex companies, but I was more than happy with the quality.

I think those are Dunlop. What thickness and softness did you go for?

OK, I didn't know that. I just got the 2" and went with the firmest option (and it's definitely firm).

My Saatva was already 11.5", so I didn't feel like adding more than another 2" of height. I'm just glad I didn't get the Saatva at 14". That plus a topper would've been excessively tall.

So I bought one of these back in the summer from walmart, I recommend getting the 12 inch one unless you prefer a slimmer firm model. We actually have an original full size Brooklyn bedding bed from years ago before they were bought out. Honestly it's similar the only difference is that these ones don't have those handles to carry the mattress like the older one does. For the walmart one the 12inch was firm at first…I got nervous/annoyed thinking I was going to need to return it, but you need to break it in. Still using it today in our master bedroom, no complaints for the price.

I think I bought the Aurora about 5 years ago directly from BB. We got the medium but was really soft. Had to switch to a firm which is still soft but much better.

My hybrid was $1200 at the time. It's held up though. I do wish it was more firm though.

So you people go around sitting on the wdge of your bed or something?

I've laid on some beds that lack edge support. If you happen to lay anywhere but the middle, it feels like it's going to roll you out of bed.

Oof, says it won't arrive until Dec 26. Can anyone confirm that's how long it actually takes to ship?

Is it in a box and then needs "float" to shape?

I got similar from Walmart before, but found such a mattress is not firm at all.

Would this be a good mattress for a 4 year old? Looking at 14" full size

When I first ordered, it says Dec 12th. But it's getting here on the 2nd.
