Who knows. The ones sold on Amazon claim to have updated firmware, but I would still stay clear for now.

I wouldn't touch SanDisk with a 100 foot pole at this point.

A data rescue company found that SanDisk were failing because of hardware that was cheaped out on. The firmware fix does nothing to address the root cause Lol.

Imagine losing 4TB of data... *shiver*
