Shame on you slickdeals. I posted my honest insight into this versus the competition and you either take it down, or allow whoever is shilling this product to take it down.

These aren't that great, premium price and they are outperformed by certain cheaper brands that are tested and proven better by that youtuber who tests all the things.

As others have mentioned, not a great deal. Best to do some research as there are cheaper and better options.

lol. Maybe I do. I was surprised myself that I was able to help strangers. The last time was at a Monata gas station when I was pulling in my Uhaul. An old lexus could not start when stopped to get gas. A pick up truck driver was trying to jump start the Lexus with a cable but could not work. So I offered to use mine.

I used it mostly on my old cars due to bad batttery (or bad habit not turning off the lights)

Noco is by far the best in portable battery jump starter according to Project Farm.

Maybe not this model specifically but most certainly the Noco GBX155. Look it up.
I wouldn't say by far. It did beat the competition but not by much. And the gbx155 was being compared to units that were a third of the price. Based on his latest video, I went with the gooloo. Less than $90 and almost as good as the $270 gbx155.

If a Chevy Corvette tests well, that doesn't say anything about a Chevy Cobalt.
This right here. The Noco he compared was $270-$300 while all of the others were around the $100 range.

You're absolutely right. Maybe not exaggeratedly, but it did outperform others within the same amperage range. And for me that was enough to purchase it. Got it a year ago almost and it's been phenomenal.

How often do you need to charge to keep it in good working condition? Thanks!
I charge mine every couple months to have it ready, and even then it still has power left after sitting couple months unused, but just to make sure it topped off. Get about 8 to 10 jumps before need recharge if commonly used. Charging it just like charging a cell phone. Plug it in and few hours charged

That's great and I'm glad it worked out for you. Fingers crossed, the gooloo will last as long.

Curious what happened to it? I have 4, 2 of the older style and 2 of the newer style as I read while back the older style ones had the battery indicator lights rounded and the newer ones had the square indicator lights the newer ones had a better battery.

All of mine sits in the trunks of my cars in the hot summer heat here in Georgia and don't get used that much but I do keep them charged and so far they all work when needed and no swelling of the battery unlike my Schumacher one that lasted 2 years but then again I got it on sale for think it was $25.

The GBX155 costs about $300. So your statement is like saying the Chevy Corvette is great, so all other Chevys must be just as good.

Really? I've driven all over the lower 48 and never had to jump start random people. Only those who lived close by. Do you have a list of people you jump started and their locations?
It's probably very difficult for you to understand so I'll explain. There's some people on this planet who're "helpful". It's like when you see someone broken down in the middle of winter in a parking lot with their hood popped and you ask "you okay" or "need a jump".
50% of the time, yes they do because their battery died from leaving a cabin light on or ect..you're either a lier or very oblivious driver if you've "driven all over the lower 48" and never seen people with their hood popped needing a jump. I've barely traveled, 25yrs old and jumped about at least 5-10 people in my life; from parking lots coming back from shopping to a McDonald's in Cleveland..Thank god everyone isn't like you.

Show me another portable one capable of better performance at that price range and I'll see your point.

My point was, that this $80 NOCO is not nearly as good as say the GOOLOO GP4000, which at this time costs only $10 more (and compares quite favorably with the GBX155 from the standpoint of overall capability).
