Shame on you slickdeals. I posted my honest insight into this versus the competition and you either take it down, or allow whoever is shilling this product to take it down.

These aren't that great, premium price and they are outperformed by certain cheaper brands that are tested and proven better by that youtuber who tests all the things.

As others have mentioned, not a great deal. Best to do some research as there are cheaper and better options.

lol. Maybe I do. I was surprised myself that I was able to help strangers. The last time was at a Monata gas station when I was pulling in my Uhaul. An old lexus could not start when stopped to get gas. A pick up truck driver was trying to jump start the Lexus with a cable but could not work. So I offered to use mine.

I used it mostly on my old cars due to bad batttery (or bad habit not turning off the lights)

I bought this for my son due to a dead battery caused by a dash cam. He never had the issue again after rewiring the dash cam better, however he was able to jump friends vehicle at work at least three times.

There's a video on YT showing a teardown of this Noco unit [youtube.com] by what seems to be an electrical engineer. His opinion is the internal build of the Noco is very good. If I knew the Gooloo had a similar build I'd order one of those, but can't find anything online about that. It seems Noco is the brand that roadside assistance companies use, so that is a good sign of durability. So that's why I'll buy a Noco instead of Gooloo for now.

Post reminded me to check the battery since I haven't charged it in a year. See its Down 1(fat green)bar, so I guess I'll leave it and charge it next year.

Gooloo is trash. I bought one and used it less than 10 times in 8 months, and now it won't take a charge anymore. Going to buy a super cap jump starter that will last me 10 years.
